SCORE is a Strategic Compliance, Oversight & Risk Evaluator that leverages AI and technology, combined with human expertise and oversight, to transform global legal, regulatory and policy signals into forward-looking intelligence. Led by a former Baker McKenzie Principal Economist and a former Kirkland & Ellis Partner, SCORE serves corporations, law firms, and private equity funds.

Moiz Shirazi

Moiz Shirazi

Founder & CEO

My background bridges economics, law, and technology. I hold a BA from the University of Chicago (2000) and an MBA from Chicago Booth (2007). I’m passionate about the intersection of AI and legal innovation, and I believe the businesses that harness data-driven legal intelligence earliest will have a decisive financial and competitive advantage.
I began developing SCORE while at Baker McKenzie, where I served as a Principal Economist. This experience gave me a front-row seat to the complexity of global legal risk — and the conviction that AI and data science could transform how companies navigate it. Since 2024 when we spun out of Baker McKenzie, SCOREalytics has proven its potential and become trusted by multinational corporations, leading law firms, and global investors.

Jennie Morawetz

Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel

After clerking for two federal judges, I spent a decade at Kirkland & Ellis advising private fund sponsors and corporations on high-stakes matters involving environmental and broader sustainability risks and governance. From 2020 to 2025, I helped build and lead a 20+ person sustainability practice group, and grappled with the challenge of keeping up with an enormous volume of rapid and complex changes to the legal landscape that could impact our clients. I also relished the challenge of legal innovation–designing new work products and workflows, championing data and technology, and increasing collaboration.

In 2025, I joined SCORE to build out the platform law firm partners and their clients need to stay on top of regulatory change and legal risk trends.

chief technology officer
With more than two decades of experience building technology organizations across startups and growth-stage companies, I have a deep command of modern AI and data infrastructure—including custom RAG implementations, LLM customizations, and semantic search—as well as broad expertise across cloud systems, DevOps, and full-stack software development.
I am a leader in the New York startup community, hosting high-caliber events with a broad range of technology and industry leaders, with a proven track record of building scalable architecture and high-performing engineering teams.

I’m energized to partner with Moiz, Jennie, and the rest of the team to build the technology that will fully deliver on this vision and give busy executives the ability to stay ahead of the legal, regulatory, and policy signals that shape risk and strategy.

Strategic Vision from the Top of the Game.

We built SCORE —
the platform we wished had existed when we were practicing.

We built SCORE — the platform we wished had existed when we were practicing.

A purpose-built platform designed to close the gap between legal and regulatory developments and the strategic decisions that depend on them.

Moiz spent years helping clients quantify supply chain legal risk across global jurisdictions.

The same problem surfaced repeatedly: the data existed, but it wasn’t structured in a way that supported robust financial decision-making. Legal developments were buried in fragmented sources, arrived without context, and couldn’t be translated into the kind of analysis executives and investors needed to act on.

Jennie's practice was built around the fast-changing sustainability landscape.

Jennie advised clients on complex climate reporting and human rights laws, emerging litigation and enforcement trends in areas like greenwashing and responsible AI, and the wave of novel anti-ESG regulations reshaping compliance obligations globally. She experienced firsthand how difficult — effectively impossible — it is to keep track of global legal developments with a manual approach, and how general-purpose AI tools aren’t built to solve this particular challenge.

Experts vet the sources and design the system to identify what matters. AI surfaces the developments that feed into that system.

SCORE is not a raw data feed. Every development on the platform reflects a deliberate process — one that combines careful data source selection and AI processing with active human oversight.

Lawyers and engineers work together with customers to classify and continuously optimize the platform’s AI-generated summaries of each development and their relative importance. And for every item, the underlying source information is always provided — so customers can go deeper whenever a development warrants it.

Data Accuracy

A dedicated team ensures the data going into the platform is accurate. There are no fabricated citations. SCORE reports on real developments from verified sources.

Lawyer-Optimised Summaries

Lawyers and engineers collaborate to refine how the platform’s AI summarises each development — balancing precision with accessibility for executive audiences.

Source Transparency

Every development is accompanied by its original source. Clients are never asked to rely on a summary alone — the underlying material is always one click away.
